Jack was born on October 17, 1931, in Apache, Oklahoma, to Jack Allen and Nellie Archiedell Baskett. He married Twilla Dana on January 15, 1957, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Jack was a mechanic. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include, his wife, Twilla of the home; four sons, Jack E. Daniel Baskett of Kingfisher, OK; Elmer "Shorty" Benjamin and wife, Louvella Baskett of Grandfield, OK; Artie Allan, and wife Pam Stoll Baskett of Mounds, OK; Robert and wife, Vickie Macias of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters, Rhea June Baskett of Lawton, OK; Claudia Eleanor Baskett of Grandfield, OK; six sisters, Margie Lee and husband Harold Bonds of St. Maries, ID; Bertha Mae Jackson of Lawton, OK; Wanda Faye Blodgett of St. Maries, ID; Juanita Grace and husband John Nigh of St. Maries, ID; Evelyn Ann and husband Jerry Wiersema of Lawton, OK; Shirley Jean and husband Jimmy Ray Williams of Grandfield, OK; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack Allen Baskett, (Ciciro); mother Nellie Archiedell Baskett; a brother Floyd Allen Baskett and a sister, Helen Louise Thatcher.
