In 1900, he was staying with his sister, Mary and her family in Multnomah Co OR. (Name under "Harmalee", his sister under "May") He is listed as a brass worker. Per FAG rules, "The Nickname cannot be the same as the First Name or Middle Name" (even if it is. He went by "Perry", his middle name. I spelled it differently so I could post his nick name as it was.)

My husband, his distant cousin, remembers going to his house on Lake Pleasant Rd Hillsdale Co MI to make ice cream. Everyone in the family (that are old enough to remember him said he was a wonderful, fun man.
