First Burial

Cause of death: consumption
She was a daughter of Alim D and Julia Raleigh.

-----
Oakwood Cemetery -- The first grave was made in Oakwood Cemetery yesterday, for Nellie, wife of Edwin Williamson, whose remains will be interred among the falling leaves of that beautiful spot this afternoon. How beautiful a time to die, when the mellow beams of the Indian summer's sun casts the softened shadows of the trees over the quiet grave in lovely "Oakwood." One solitary sleeper will repose in Oakwood, and one solitary spirit keep its loving vigil over the hallowed spot, and beckon mortals to follow and take up a quiet above in the City of the Dead.
