Heath Care Parking Systems of Tampa. She graduated from
Cony High School in 1968. Marilyn had worked for the last 15
years in Augusta in the office of Dr. Eugene Glad and, prior to
that, at St. Augustine Catholic School.
Marilyn enjoyed the beautiful beaches and warm climate of
Florida, and was an accomplished basket maker, her favorite
hobby. Her love for all of life, especially her animals, was
evident to all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Izetta
Anderson, and her brother, Frank Allen Anderson Jr.
She is survived, and will be greatly missed by, her best friend,
her husband, Wm. "Rusty" Garside, of St. Petersburg; her son,
Christopher Turmelle, his wife, Michelle, and their daughter,
Randa, of Lisbon Falls, Maine; her son, Mark Turmelle, his wife,
Randolph, Maine; her sister, Janice Leary, and her husband,
Edward, of Palermo, Maine; as well as several cousins, nieces
and nephews and countless friends. She helped them all.
A memorial service will be held at St. Augustine Church in
Augusta, at a later date.
She will rest eternally at peace in her favorite spot, Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine.
Those wishing to honor her memory may contribute to their
favorite charity, especially animal shelters.
