CAMDEN - Priscilla L. Lawrence, 65, of Camden, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010, at home surrounded by her kids.
She was born on Aug. 1, 1944, in Kannapolis, N.C., and was preceded in death by her parents, Norris C. Sparks and Francis L. Sparks; and a brother, George Calvin Bare. Ms. Lawrence was a retired homemaker who enjoyed her family, friends, church, and playing POGO on her computer.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Forrest and her husband Chuck of Bishopville, MD, and Debbie Gonce and her Husband Sam of Perryville, MD; a son, Thomas (Murph) Hansell Jr. and his fiance Valene Winner of Camden; six grandchildren, Sammy Gonce, Chucky Forrest, Cody Forrest, Deanna Gonce, Gavin Winner, and Paige L. Hansell; two brothers, Leroy Sparks, and Norris Sparks II; two sisters, Vanessa Baker, and Linda Eckeard; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Delaware Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Hospice.
She will be deeply missed.
