Mr. Bowman was a native of King City, Mo., but had spent most of his life here. He was a construction worker and was a Jehovah's Witness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Bowman of the home; four sons, Arthur Lee Bowman and Lindsey Harold Bowman of St Joseph and Danny Bowman and Arthur Bowman of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy McGinnis of St Joseph; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Mace of St Joseph; a brother, Harold William Bowman of St Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Lula Flanagan of Los Angeles, Calif.; a half-sister, Mrs. Phillip Piantanida of Westfield, Calif.; and seven grandchildren."
