BORN NE, a son of Noah Colerick--Sarah Muntz; wed Alta on 30 Dec 1915 [PER BoxButte Cnty NE]

DAN W COLERICK: Alliance; 71, retired Fire Dept employee in Alliance for many years, died early this morning in a Lincoln hospital. MrColerick was injured in a one-car accident near Bassett Mon afternoon & was taken, along with his wife, to the Lincoln hospital by ambulance following the mishap. MrsColerick, the former Edith Sisley, is reported as improving from her injuries but will be hospitalized a few more days. According to a State Patrolman in Bassett, MrsColerick was driving the family car at the time of the mishap & a flat tire was blamed for the incident. Three daus of the Colericks have been in Lincoln with their parents since Tuesday. They are Mr&Mrs HK Hawley(Erma), Mr&Mrs Marion Smith(Ruby)-all of Alliance & MrsGene Holthus(Alta) of Cheyene WY. MrColerick was employed as the truck driver for the Alliance Volunteer Fire Dept for many years. He served in the capacity prior to WW2 & again following the Alliance Air Base days. During the war he served as a truck driver for the Air base Fire Dept here. He retired a couple of years ago & since has been serving as janitor of the Christian Church.

In addition to his widow & 3 daus: he is survived by 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending but will be held in Alliance. Members of the family in Alliance reported this morning that the children plan to remian in Lincoln until MrsColerick is able to leave the hospital & return to Alliance with them.
