Jabez was born to John Davis (1649–1729) and Ruth Goodspeed (1652-1692) in Falmouth.
At the age of 27, Jabez married the 26 year old Annah Dimmock on Mar. 5, 1719, in Falmouth. Annah was the daughter of John Dimmock and Elizabeth Lombard of Barnstable.
Jabez and Annah had eight children known to me.
