Margaret "Peggy" Hendricks Woodall was the daughter of William H. Hendricks Sr. and Susannah (a full-Blood Cherokee born in the Old Cherokee Nation in GA). She had 12 brothers and sisters. **See Willis Hendricks or William H. Sr. or Susannah Hendricks (all buried in the Hendricks Cemetery).

She married Andrew Woodall who is buried in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the name of Andrew Woodal on May 10, 1844.

They had the following children: Annie E. (Eliza Ann) Woodall Terrell Hendricks (buried at Hendricks Cemetery) who married Aaron Terrell and Franklin Hendricks; William who married Elnora Potts; Caroline "Carrie" E. Woodall who married John Beaver Post (both are buried in Price Cemetery, Cherokee, Co., OK); and Daniel who married Emaline Ragsdale.

The Woodall Community southwest of Tahlequah, OK, is named after Andrew Woodall and Margaret Hendricks Woodall. The Woodall School is built on land donated by them.

She has a tall monument by that of her brother James R. Hendricks. It has a design, but was never engraved with her name.
