SELF - Rupert Sylvester Self, age 61, of Rt. 6, Box 383, B'ham, passed away Friday p.m. at the residence. Survived by the widow, Mrs. Alice Self; three sons, W.W., R.E., and Alfred Self; three daughters, Mrs. C.A. Green, Mrs. Mildred Thomas, Mrs. F.J. Brumbeloe; two sisters, Mrs. W.S. Brown, Mrs. V.M. Price of Pinson, Ala.; one brother, J.M. Self, nine grandsons, two grand-daughters. Funeral services Sunday, 2:30 p.m. from Marvin's Chapel Church, the Rev. C.L. Sumner and the Rev. Lee Franklin officiating. Interment adjoining cemetery. Brown-Service, Norwood, directing.
