Evelyn M. (Spitler) Greene, 86, of Perrysburg, died Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Findlay, Ohio, on May 14, 1924, to Verne and Ethel (Turner) Spitler. She married Melvin Greene on April 16, 1949, in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bretsch; sons, Michael (Beverly) and Mark Greene; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Snyder, Dolan (Jennifer) Greene, Nathanael (Pam) Greene, Jared (Danielle) Greene, Melissa (John) Kern, Zachary (Brianna) Greene, Melody (Chris) Wyble and Elliott Greene; great-grandchildren, Paige and Cortney Snyder, Emily, Ashley, Austin, Isabell, Becky, Theresa, David, Brady, Lauren and Weston Greene, Tamora, Kristel, Chloe, Adeline, Valerie and Jakob Kern, Walter and Zachary Junior Greene, and Maddison and Rachel Wyble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin. Funeral services were held Saturday, August, 21, at First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg. Burial was in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
