Aaron Walter Bills was a son of William Enoch Bills and his first wife Phebe Hoskinson of (W) Virginia. Aaron had two older brothers John and Elias. Phebe died giving birth to Aaron Walter on April 1, 1811. His father remarried to Martha Ann Alley, daughter of John Alley and Agnes Elizabeth Burge (Alley). They had ten more children, 1/2 siblings to Aaron Walter.
