He was born December 23, 1887, at Fairview, the son of Asa and Margaret Tennant Lemley. His first wIfe, Esta Eddy Lemley, died in 1933.
A retired school teacher and farmer, Mrs. Lemley was a veteran of World War I and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Surviving in addition to Dr. Lemley and his second wife, Virginia C. Lemley; one daughter, Dr. Ellen Schattner, of Bethel Park, formerly of Waynesburg; one sister, Mrs. Etta Moore, of Fairview, W. Va., R. D. 2; and three grandchildren.
