Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, December 29, 1955 for Benjamin Borreson who passed away Monday morning at 9:45 a.m., at Beach.
Mr. Borreson had been ill for the past five years, suffering from a coronary heart disease.
Benjamin Borreson was born July 26, 1882 at La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was married to Alma Wensole July 2, 1916. For the past 26 years the Borreson's have been residents of Belfield. Mr. Borreson was a registered pharmacist and owned the City Drug Store until his illness made it necessary for him to retire.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Audrey (Mrs. Albert Hecker), granddaughter, Aubre Joy, four sisters and four brothers.
Rev. Lambert Locker will officiate at the funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Organist and soloist will be Duane Indergaard.
Interment will be made in the Belfield Lutheran cemetery with military honors by the Belfield Legion Post.
Mr. Borreson was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters, the Belfield Legion Post, having been a veteran of World War I, and the Belfield Lutheran Parish.
