Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Kneuven, resident of Portageville for many years, died at the home of her daughter in Chillicothe, January 10, at the advanced age of 81 years. Mrs. Kneuven was born in Glandoff, Ohio, in 1870 and in 1887, in that city, was married to August Kneuven. They moved to Portageville in 1911, having lived there since that time.
She is survived by five daughters, three sons, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church in Portageville Monday morning, conducted by the Rev. Fr. S.P. Stocking. Burial was in the Portageville Cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
