The Rev. James T. Haggard died Tuesday at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. He was 74, a native Stone County, Arkansas, and a resident Baton Rouge. He was a retired Pentecostal minister.
Body at the Little River Pentecostal Church, Tickfaw, La., until religious services, conducted by Rev. Wilmer Sistrunk. Burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Davis Haggard; two daughters, Mrs. William J. Martin of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. H.W. Thompson of Albany, La.; one son, Truman Haggard of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Welsh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
