DANNY LYNN BLY, age 66 of Manassas Park, Virginia died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Bly was born June 17, 1942 in Shenandoah County, Virginia son of the late Otis Taft and Lena Alice Ritenour Bly. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a member of Strasburg Moose Lodge 403; a member of American Legion Post 77, Strasburg and had retired from Verizon Telephone Company after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Sandy Lee Bly; five children, Mike Bly and wife Kelli of Florida, Dana Zernick and husband Bob of Cambria, PA, Julia Baum and husband Kevin of Cambria, PA, James Fries of Manassas, and Kristie Fries of Manassas; one brother, Bobby Bly; six sisters, Jean, Carol, Barbara, Suzie, Bonita "Peachy" and Cathy; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 19, 2008 at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia with military honors.
