JANIE ETHEL DIXON, 70, of Memphis, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at her home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at National Cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home Family Heritage Chapel has charge. She was a life member of Church of Christ. Mrs. Dixon, the wife of W.L. Dixon, also leaves a daughter, Sharon Rye of Memphis; three sons, Tony Dixon of Arlington, and Ronald Dixon and Gregory L. Dixon, both of Memphis; a sister, Jesse Bomar of Memphis; a brother, Charles Darnell of Somerville, Tenn., 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
