Mrs. Lillie BRENT, 94, of Mt. Pleasant dies
Mrs. Lillie Mae BRENT, 94, of Mount Pleasant died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, February 3, in the Pleasant Manor Care Center.
She was born in Louisa County November 6, 1888, to John and Louesa ALRUTH-GABRIEL. She married Eugene E. BRENT, December 13, 1913, at Columbus Junction. He died February 2, 1966.
Mrs. BRENT was a member of the Winfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Rev. Arthur BRENT of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Louesa BUSH of Morning Sun; a brother, Edward GABRIEL of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one foster great-grandchild.
The funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m. in Winfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Brown Garlock was in charge. Burial was in Columbus City Cemetery.
