George was born in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts as Yezy Artur Bialkowski. His parents, Thaddeus Bialkowski and Ceicelia (Nool) Gruntmeyer, both from Poland, died when he was very young.
George's mother, Ceicelia, married 2nd to Paul A. Gruntmeyer and was raised with his half sister and brother. When his mother died George lived with his grandmother for a while. Then he was raised by Marie Fasano, his god mother.
George was a cook in the Civilian Conservation Corps out of Fort Devons from 1935 to 1936. He changed his last name to Beal in the 1930's.
George was a business man in Sears and Roebuck Company for many years in Boston, Massachusetts.
He married in 1966 in Somerville, Massachusetts. They lived in Waltham, Mass., for a few years then moved to Holderness NH in 1967, where they bought the White Oak Motel and ran the business for about 8 years. By the late 1970's they sold the business and moved to Plymouth, NH., where they resided for 25 years.
George was an avid golf player,skier,traveler, and solved crossword puzzles and even designed a few for submission to magazines. He died from Parkinson's disease and Dementia.
