Daisy Mae Wilson 89, passed away at Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation, September 12, 2010. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 15, at Belton Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, Mo. Memorials may be made to Grace Hospice. Daisy was born Dec. 28, 1920, in Lebanon, Mo., to Henry Floyd Jones and Sirildia Jennings Jones. She moved to Belton in 1994 and was a member of Church of God. She did assembly work at Kuhlman Die-casting. She was a housewife, loving mother and grandmother who loved cooking, knitting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Vernon Wilson; brother, Henry Jones, Jr.; and sister, Dottie Jones and infant sister, Louise Jones. She is survived by her five sons, Lee Wilson, La Cygne, Kan., Henry Wilson, Philadelphia, Pa., David Wilson, Blairstown, Mo., John Wilson, Louisburg, Kan., and James Wilson, Raymore, Mo.; four daughters, Mikell Marney, Stanley, Kan., Sirrildia Burton, Ashland, Kan., Carrie Guernsey, La Cygne, and Darlene Horgan, Oakland, Calif.; sister, Peggy Rusk, Independence, Mo.; 42 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
