Mrs. Annie Bell Douglas Davis, 76 died Saturday at the home of a brother near Alma after a long illness. She had lived in Nicholls almost her entire life. She was the widow of the late J. A. Davis and a member of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. H. Cody, Waycross, two brothers, E. D. Douglas of Tampa, Fla., J. W. Douglas, Alma, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:00 P. M. at Douglas Chapel by Rev. C. F. Thomas; burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Douglas, Herbert Douglas, Albert Douglas, R. H. Douglas, Herbert Cody, and E. C. Lott.

Denmark Funeral Home of Alma was in charge of arrangements.
