OLLIE PRINCE WEST
Mrs. Ollie Prince West, born December 4th 1879 in Mississippi died October 18th 1939, at her home near Lilbourn at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 14 days.
Mrs. West was married to J. A. West. Coming to Missouri from Arkansas in 1894. 13 children were born to this union. Five preceded their mother to the great beyond. Four daughters, Mrs. Lula Griffith, Marker Tree, Ark., Mrs. Edith Lyonss, Tyler, Mo., Mrs. Velma Nelson, Lilbourn, Mo. Mrs. Madaline Smith, Parina, and three sons Monroe West, Portageville, Elmer and Alva West both of Lilbourn, survive. She is also survived by her devoted companion, J. A. West and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday moring. October 19th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Gilbert Harden of Matthews, officiating. Interment in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
