Robert M. "Robby" Keeling, 42, of Brick Lane, Durham, died after a brief illness on Friday (September 10, 2010) at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown.
Robby was born in Meriden on December 21, 1967, a son of Margaret M. McLean Keeling of Durham and the late Alden E. "Buddy" Keeling Jr.
He was the manager of Luby Monuments in Meriden and had been previously employed by Stop and Shop in North Haven.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his two sisters Pamela K. Chabot and her husband Gary; Rachel B. Lynch; and his brother Alden E. Keeling III and Janet Cooke all of Durham; his niece Caitlynn R. Chabot; and his two nephews Mark P. Lynch Jr. and Brandon A. Lynch. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Alden E. Keeling Sr. and Bernice Manternach Keeling; his maternal grandmother Marie Kinch; and his brother-in-law Mark P. Lynch.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Extension, on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services and interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden will be private.
