"Mrs. Annabelle Schultz, sixty years old, wife of Charles Schultz, died early Monday morning at the family home on rural route 6, following an extended illness. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Charles, Henry, John and Robert Reed, all of St Joseph, and eleven grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow afternoon at Clark's chapel. The Rev. E. N. Huffman, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, August 15, 1938
