Andrew A Foust was the oldest son of Jonas Foust and his first wife, Susannah Brown Foust.

Andrew was second born, his sister, Mary Foust Amick Sherman, coming first in 1829, and his brother, George H Foust, born in 1832.

Half brothers and sisters ensued upon his widowed father's subsequent marriage to Elizabeth Kester. Many of these family members also rest at the Mound.

Andrew's children include, by his first wife, Martha Hodge, whom he wed in 1852: Esther, Susannah, Lydia, Winfield, Jane, Hubbard, Namon, Lee Burton, and Theodore.

Andrew's second wife, Susan Kennedy, whom he married a couple years after Martha passed, was stepmother to these and added to the family Leroy and Mary.

Andrew's third wife, Sarah Jane Horner, bore to him two more children, Raymond and Martha, and also brought her own children from a prior Foust marriage, Mary Alice, Daniel, and Alvin.

Andrew led a long and full life at the family farm about 3 and a half miles north of the Mound Cemetery, and about 3 miles southwest of Cardington, Ohio. He died in his 87th year. His oldest child, Esther Foust McVey, born in 1854, and his youngest child, Martha Foust, born 1892, are buried in the same row with their father, here at the Mound.
