Brother of Donald (Navy) Norman, Charles, Eleanor, Patsy and Janet.

Robert, who resided on Shawnee Road, Milford, Delaware, served as a Fireman First Class on the destroyer U.S.S. Warrington, U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was "Lost At Sea" when the Warrington sunk during a Hurricane off the East Coast of the United State while he was attempting repairs.

He had served in the Navy for one year and one month at the time of his death.
