Services for the Rev. William F. Shearin, Baptist minister, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Middleburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Fulton Robertson and the Rev. Teddy Evans officiating. Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge.

The Rev. Shearin, who was 65, died Friday at the Naval Hospital in Millington. He had suffered a heart attack a week ago.

He served in the Army 25 years as a chaplain and he retired July 1, 1960. Since then he has been pastor of churches at Middleburg, Pocahontas and Bethel Springs.

The Rev. Shearin was a Mason, member of Bolivar Lodge No. 608, and was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge No. 402. He and Mrs. Shearin had lived in Bolivar since 1960.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie B. Shearin of Bolivar; two brothers, Dr. Lawrence R. Shearin of New Orleans and Jesse J. Shearin of Hickory Valley; and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Breining of Memphis.
