Cecil Eugene Stadge, 67, Parkersburg, died at 12:05 p.m. August 26 1998, at his residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Minister Joseph York officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stadge was born Feb. 26, 1931 in Claremont, the son of Alger and Goldie Stadge.
He was a retired pipe cutter at Roadmaster.
Mr. Stadge is survived by two sons, Jerry Stadge and his wife, Shirley of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Phillip Stadge of Nashville; a daughter, Phyllis Talley and her husband, Jeremy of Parkersburg; a brother Walter Stadge and his wife, Dolores of Calhoun and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Rodney, a brother, Charles and a sister Charlene.
