NOBLESVILLE-
Robert A. Sweitzer, 71, of Noblesville, died May 9, 2000, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was a former Anderson resident.
He was born May 21, 1928 in Maysville, Ky. to Charles E. Sweitzer and Katherine (Ginn) Sweitzer.
He was retired from Sweitzer printing in Noblesville and had owned and operated Sweitzer Offset Service in Anderson. He was a 1946 graduate of St. Mary High School. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a former member of Lions Club Wayne Fall, Clarksville Masonic Lodge, and New Castle Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Beth (Hume) Sweitzer of Noblesville; three sons, Michael S. Sweitzer of Anderson, David L. Sweitzer of Noblesville, and Steven L. Sweitzer; grandchildren, Stacey L. Sweitzer, Michael Sweitzer, Mallery Sweitzer, Emma Sweitzer; three nieces (there are actually more, but my great-grandpa and his brother, Robert had a falling out) Estella (Glen) Craig of Anderson; Katherine Cox of Orange, Tx; and Bernice J. Crull of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jared Sweitzer; brothers and sisters, Earl Sweitzer, Ellen F. Sweitzer, E. Estelle Sweitzer, Charles W. Sweitzer, Henry J. Sweitzer, Arvid T. Schweitzer, and Marie Fisher.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Refuge Christian Church or Indiana Organ Procurement.
