First husband was Ira Portis (1777-1825), married 08 Sept 1825, Suggsville, AL. They had three children, Edmund Marsh Portis, Benjamin Person Portis and Darius Marsh Portis.

Darius Marsh had plantation at Fork Creek, Randolph County, NC and sold it and moved with other families in 1816 to Mississippi territory, which included Alabama, Mississippi after War of 1812 with Red Stick. Darius put Intestate bond up for William Jordan in 1808 for Miles Jordan my ancestors. One of William's daughter Louise Jordan married into Spinks family of Clarke County, Alabama and that family moved their in 1823 from Fork Creek, Randolph County, North Carolina.
