Peter F. "PJ" Abruzzese III of Braintree, formerly of Quincy died Friday Sept. 10, 2010 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 26 years of age. He was raised in Quincy and moved to Braintree where he graduated from Braintree High School class of 2002. PJ loved being funny and acting like a comedian. He also enjoyed motorcycles and especially spending time with his children. He was an upholsterer for the MBTA in Everett. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Beloved father of Evan Donald Abruzzese of Braintree. Loving fianc of Carolyn Hughes and step-father to her son Matty Anderson of Braintree. Devoted son of Peter F. Jr. and Carol Ann (Woods) Abruzzese of Braintree. Brother of Joey, Jimmy and Nicole Abruzzese, all of Braintree. Grandson of Peter and Joyce Abruzzese of Weymouth and Bill and Mary Woods of Quincy. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St., (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.), Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Anns Church, Quincy at 10:00 oclock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 | 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later day.
