Daughter of the late Leamon Taylor and Jessie Verlon Matthews Hollis, she was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer Bembridge, two daughters, Collen and Marlene Bembridge, and a step-son, Robbie Edmonds. She was a retired supply clerk with West Point Pepperell. She was a member of Hamilton Methodist Church. She was survived by her husband, James Wiley Edmonds; sons, Chris Bembriddge, Connell Bembridge (Cindy) and Ronald Bembridge; step-daughteer, Jackie Early; sisters, Phillis Harris and Kim Hollis; brother, Daryl Hollis; five grandchildren, Makayla Leggett, Carly Bembridge, Garrett Tate, Ethan Tate and Ashlyn Tate. Her funeral was held on September 13, 2010.
