James Ehlert, 28, of Cicero, Ill., died early Wednesday morning. He had been in failing health for the past year.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ehlert, Rt. 1, Tigerton, James was born in Shawano on August 5, 1934, and lived in Shawano County until moving to Chicago in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army for 14 months and was employed by Western Electric Company. He never married.
Survivors besides his parents are his sisters, Mrs. Doris Westphal and Mrs. Elmer Kawolski [Betty] of Milwaukee and brothers Delbert of Rt. 1, Tigerton, Donald, Sidney and Myron of Chicago and George, Jr., of Fond du Lac. [Also survived by a daughter, Tina Dawn, and her mother, Maxine, of Cicero, Ill.].
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 8th, at 2 p.m. at the Born Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. W. H. Waeckerie officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Born Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Thursday evening and until the time of the services Friday at 2 p.m.
