Obit: Madge A. Peters, 91, of Griswold died Friday, December 30, 1988 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital from a stroke suffered on Novembr 21.
She was born October 22, 1897, the daughter of Thomas Winfield and Adeline Pickrell Burkhalter, near Lewis, and lived in Cass County all her life. She graduated from Lewis High School in 1916 and is the last survivor of the graduating class. She taught school for several years. On March 1, 1922 she married Raymond Peters, Mrs. Peters is survived by a son William (Bill) and his wife Dorothy of Griswold; two sisters, Gail Snodgrass and Gladys Allyn of Boise, Idaho; and also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband Raymond in 1956, two sisters, Joyce Salter and Hazel Arnold; three brothers, Earl, Ray and Lyle Brukhalter.
