Helen Arlene Braun, 82, of Vandalia died at 2:04 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at Overcup Baptist Church in rural Vandalia with the Rev. Doug Wodtka officating. Burial will be in McInturff Cemetery in Hagarstown. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and one hour before services on Monday at the Church. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department Home Care and Hospice or donors choice. Mrs. Braun was born on June 18, 1928 in Vandalia the daughter of Floyd D and Cleta Lucille Bayles Pryor. She married Kenneth Braun on July 3, 1948 in St Elmo. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Steven M Braun and his wife Nancy of rural Vandalia and K Randal "Randy" Braun and his wife Terri of rural Vandalia; daughter Christy L and husband Bob Warner of rural Vandalia. Brother Norman Pryor of Vandalia; Grandchildren, Tina and husband John Kaiser, Curt Braun and wife Nickie, Cory Braun and wife Marsha, Adam Braun and his wife Molly, Ashley and husband Chad Towler, Grant Fulk, Zachary Fulk and wife Jessica, Katy Fulk, Dylan Fulk, Adam Warner, Arik Warner and wife Tina. Great Grandchildren, Bradyn Kaiser, Ryan Kaiser, Lauren Kaiser, Brock Braun, Kolter Fulk, Lacey Warner, Laban Warner, Levi Warner, Allison Warner, Leah Warner and Sophie Warner.
