Lila Payne, 41, former Rapid City, S.D, resident, died Oct. 22, 1978 at a hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Services were Oct. 25 at Waukee and burial was in Pollock, S.D.
Lila graduated from National College of Business in Rapid City and was a secretary at West River Equipment. She married Roger Payne and they lived at Rapid City until six years ago when they moved to lowa.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, Adel; two daughters, Pam and Diane, both of Adel; one son, Brian, Adel; her mother, Mrs. Rudy Renner, Aberdeen, S.D., and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Frankforter, Rapid City, SD.
