Van Duzen
Grace Van Duzen passed away peacefully at her home on Sunrise Ranch on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004. She was 92. She was born May 17, 1912, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Following secretarial school, she worked in bookkeeping in a large department store in that city. She contacted Emissaries of Divine Light in the early 1940s and moved to Loveland in 1946, where she was executive secretary to the founder of Emissaries of Divine Light, Lloyd A. Meeker, as well as his successor, Martin Cecil.
She coordinated publishing, visual and dramatic arts for The Emissaries and taught Bible classes for many years. Grace traveled extensively around the world and authored two books: "The Vibrational Ark" and "The Book of Grace: A Cosmic View of the Bible." She enjoyed sketching in her spare time and was proud of her prolific rose garden.
Throughout her 92 years, Grace touched countless lives, and she will be missed by friends around the world.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, her husband, Van, and son, Billy.
A memorial service will be held in the Dome Chapel at Sunrise Ranch, 5569 N. County Road 29, Loveland, at 11 a.m. on Dec. 11. A reception will follow in the Sunrise Ranch Pavilion.
Cremation has been conducted.
Allnutt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Gifts in her memory may be made to Sunrise Ranch.
