HUMANSVILLE — Services for Gordon Kennedy, 79, Route 2, Humansville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Murray Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Humansville Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy died of natural causes at 2 a.m. Thursday in his home.
A farmer and lifelong resident of Cedar and Polk counties, he was a member of Humansville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie; two sons, Kenneth, Ozark, and Norman, Hampton, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Averil Vannoy, Kansas City, Mrs. Ruth Anderson, Springfield, and Mrs. Lois Purtle, El Dorado Springs; a sister, Mrs. Flossie Abby, Iowa City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
