His family moved to America when he was one year old and he became an
American citizen. He was working as a film director and studio manager at
Warner Brothers Film Studios, Broom Road, Teddington when it was hit by
a German V1 flying bomb. He was cremated and his ashes were interred at
Salem Memorial Park & Garden, Colma, San Mateo County, California, USA.
