A Celebration of Life for Tammy Deann McAnally Romero, 45, Ada, is 2 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Romero died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Ada. She was born Nov. 23, 1964, in Ada to Alvin James and Geraldine Mackey McAnally. She graduated from Latta High School in 1982. She ponied race horses at race tracks in Oklahoma and North Texas; later a manager of Harley-Davidson of North Texas, independent real estate broker and an event planner for various organizations. She volunteered her time with Make A Wish Foundation, Last Chance Foundation, numerous toy drives and was a lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group. She was the creator of Oklahoma Style Novelties. Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Young, Ada; father, Alvin McAnally and wife Jean, Ada; two sisters, Teena D. Henry and husband Philip, Lula; and Gina G. Johnson and husband Shane, Ada; brother, Todd Oneal Young and girlfriend Joan Jennings, Ada; three nieces, Chesna Henry, Lula, Maggie Johnson, Ada, and Jasie Lee, Ada; four nephews, Chat Henry, Lula, Chisum Henry, Lula; Austin Johnson, Ada, and Bladen Johnson, Ada; and numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Coy Oneal Young Sr.; paternal grandparents, Walter and Josie McAnally; and maternal grandparents, Zelma Dale Mackey and Gene and Lillie Cossey.
