Lt. John A. Padgett, U.S.A. (Ret.), of 5491 Loughborough, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 1957. He was the beloved husband of Gertrude Padgett (nee Lundeck), the dear father of Mrs. Mabel Schockley, Charles and Donald Greaves, and the late John A. Padgett, Jr. He was a dear brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law, grandfather and uncle.
Mr. Padgett's funeral will be held on Monday at 8:30 am from the Hoffmeister Chapel, 7814 S. Broadway, to St. Raphael Church to the National Cemetery.
Mr. Padgett was a member of Capron-Keithly Camp No. 15, U.S.W.V. and El-Caney Meuse Post No. 1145 V.F.W. U.S.W.V and V.F.W services will be held on Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
