Mr. Bish, 63, of 6624 Grant St., died Thursday, July 30, 1987, at a St Joseph hospital.
Born near Halls, Mo., he had spent most of his life in the St Joseph area. He was a retired employee of Armour & Co., where he had spent 37 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Bish, in 1980.
Surviving are his wife, Lilie Bish of the home; a brother, Paul Bish of St Joseph; a foster son, Mike Green of St Joseph; three stepsons, David Higgins of St Joseph, Mark Higgins in Germany and the Rev. Phillip Higgins of Silver Lake, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Phyllis Petro and Susan Vienhage, both of St Joseph, and Janice Gillam of Bowling Green, Ky.; 15 stepgrandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and four foster grandchildren."
