Wallace H. Johnson
Wallace Harold Johnson, 67, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Saturday, January 18, in Redmond Park Hospital in Rome, GA, following a brief illness. He was a native of Cherokee County, a retired farmer, a veteran of WWII and a member of Union Methodist Church.
Services were Sunday, January 19 at 3:00 p.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery with Jordan Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Johnson is survived by two sons, Danny G. Johnson of Cedar Bluff and Larry H. Johnson of Leesburg; three daughters, Marilyn St. Clair and Linda St. Clair, both of Leesburg and Brenda Chandler of Cedar Bluff; his mother, Bonnie B. Johnson of Lyerly, GA; a brother, Jack Johnson of Gaylesville; a sister, Bert J. Snider of Summerville, GA, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Gordon Johnson.
