Michael P. Barnett,
age 62, was born June 14, 1948 in Ypsilanti, MI to the late Taft and Lucille (Pechota) Barnett. Mike passed away suddenly but peacfully at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 5, 2010.
Loving Husband of Vicki (Vinson). Devoted father of Tytti (Greg) Newton, Connie Combs and Michael. Dear brother of Avalee (Robert) Arndt, Francis (James) Petre, Judith (Fred) Stafford, Gerald (Ruth) Barnett and Timothy (Janet) Barnett. Beloved grandfather of Kelly, Tad, Abby, Faith and Taylor.
Mike graduated from Belleville High School in 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps earning a bronze star in the Vietman War. Mike was Executive Vice President, Distribution, at United Engines in Oklahoma. An avid sportsman, Mike loved shooting, hunting, fishing, golfing and dirt bike riding with his friends and family.
Visitation will be held at David C. Brown Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Bethany Bible Church, at 810 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, Michgian, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan.
