Ludie Agnes was born November 10, 1928 in Warner Oklahoma and passed March 20, 1990 in Broken Arrow Mecical Center at the age of 64. She came to Coweta when she was 13 years old. She worked at the Green Parrot Cafe for a period of time and was employed at the high school at the time of her death. Services was held March 23, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. Reverand Jimmie Himes officiated. Organist was Ellen Lowery.

Pallbearers were Winson Woods, Jerry Woods, Junior Harris, Keith Hobbs, Wayne Woods and Jerry Woods
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Allison and Jimmy Allison. Interment was in Haskell Cemetery and was directed under Wright Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband Howard of the home, daughters Gail Tennison of Coweta OK. , Kathy Pierson (later became Moreland) and Pamela Spesert both from Porter OK. Three brothers, (Half Brother) - Pete Taylor, Coweta, Wilson Slavens, Mazie, Allen Slavens, Wagoner OK. Five sisters, Gracie McClure, Coweta, Edna Faulkner, Arkansas City Kansas, half sister Irene Inskeep Missouri. Nadine Graham and Eva Webb both of California. Also included are seven grandchildren.

Ludie was preceeded in death by her parents, Winson Van Buren Slavens and Eathel Taylor, a son William Donald Harris, and one sister Maxine Woods and half sister Evelyn Mae Slavens.

The origional obit had so many mistakes with names, I felt that it should be corrected.
