Captain A. W. Marshall, USN, was designated Naval Aviator #3300 in 1926 (previously designated a Naval Aviation Observor in 1925). Graduated U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1896. Commissioning commanding officer of aircraft carrier USS LEXINGTON (CV-2). Retired in 1938 with rank of Rear Admiral.
