Special Dispatch to The Call. CHICO, April 27.-At 5:45 this evening Allen Henry died, aged 64 years. Deceased came to California in 1865, located in Butte County and engaged in farming. He was the first farmer to start the system of summer fallowing, which is the only method of farming on adobe lands. Up to eight years ago Mr. Henry engaged extensively in farming and stock raising, but of recent years failing health forced him to retire. Deceased was three times sent to the Legislature from this county, being a member of that body when the normal school was located in this city. He leaves a wife, two sons and one daughter, all residents of this city.
