Andrew was the son of Phillip Brakebill of Monroe Co, TN and Docia "Docie" Perkins of Madison Co, KY. He married Sally Emily Casey on Jan 5 1887 in Boone Co, MO. They had ten known children: Ollie B, Bertha B. "Bertie", Charles Andrew, Ellie, Rosier George, Katherine, Lucile L, Minnie, Russell and one unknown. Andrew was an engineer on a steam locomotive in Maitland. Most of his children were railroaders.
