She was born May 28, 1942, in San Francisco, Calif., to George Oliver and Leona Oliver. She grew up in Long Beach, Calif., was a graduate of Millikan High School in Long Beach, Calif., attended Biola University in La Mirada, Calif., and graduated from Long Beach City College. She spent many years working for the State of California Department of Employment as a manager and supervisor. She received numerous awards and citations and was appointed by the Governor to the California State Employment Development Task Force, where she served until her retirement.
Survivors include her brother, two nephews, and two aunts.
